Fued between Councilwoman and police in Newburgh


Newburgh, NY – One Newburgh, NY City Councilwoman says there are certain police officers who are getting away with murder. PBA President Paul Weber told the city council there have not been supportive of the police department over the past year. That prompted Councilwoman Christine Bello to have some harsh words of her own. We are behind the police department 100 percent, but there are a small percentage of officers that are getting away with murder in this city, she said. Immediately following the comment, which was made during Monday night's City Council meeting, Weber dared Bello to name one officer guilty of murder in the city.
