Albany, NY – National Grid is facing a State Public Service Commission Probe after it cut power to a Capital Region city during the hottest day of the year. As temperatures across the Capital Region rose thru the 90's on Tuesday, households and businesses in the city of Troy went without electricity as National Grid's computer system took the municipality offline in what officials later said was a "planned outage."
