Sematech Expanding, Not Moving

Albany, NY – Sematech, a high-tech research consortium that received $40 million from Texas in 2004 to remain based in that state and add jobs, created confusion Wednesday by saying its international headquarters would be shifted to Albany, N.Y., because of a $300 million development grant from New York state. Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas Reports.
