Albany, NY – Labor Activists held what they called "educational" events at Circuit City stores this week in opposition to the recent mass-firing of employees by the company. After a tremendous loss in TV sales, Circuit City officials have decided on another way to regain financial ground. On March 28th, the company announced the layoff of 34-hundred store staffers, promising to later rehire everyone at lower wages. That didn't set well with the I-W-W - Industrial Workers of the World picketed Tuesday outside the chain's Crossgates Commons store.
