Plattsburgh, NY – Environmental scientists have collected water samples from hundreds of Adirondack lakes to see whether they're threatened by nitrogen pollution. They're concerned that nitrogen from smokestacks and motor vehicles may change the chemistry of the lake waters, in a similar manner as acid rain. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
