Albany, NY – New York Racing Association officials say the racetrack at Saratoga Springs lost $12 million yesterday after intense heat cancelled all scheduled races. The effects of the cancellation hit local businesses as well, but racing and business officials in town predict a bounce back. A regular racing schedule resumes today at the track.
