Plattsburgh, NY – There is a lack of nursing home beds available in Plattsburgh, New York. In the past few months, people who need to enter such facilities have had to be placed as far away as Ticonderoga or even Burlington, Vermont. The senior care community hopes future crises will be averted with the announcement Tuesday afternoon that an new skilled nursing home facility is planned.
