Meeting Does Little to Allay Concerns Over Possible Permanent Border Checkpoint

Plattsburgh, NY – New York Congressmen John McHugh and John Sweeney have met with representatives of Customs and Border Protection to discuss plans to build a permanent border checkpoint on the Adirondack Northway. While the legislators say the agency has made no decision on the matter, they are still displeased with the idea that such a facility is being considered.
