Agreement Reached Allowing Rail Communications Towers In Adirondacks

Plattsburgh, NY – The New York State Department of Transportation and Canadian Pacific Railway have announced an agreement that will shorten planned radio towers in the Adirondack Park. At least one environmental group says it sets an important precedent in preserving the scenic nature of the Park while allowing improved communications for the rail line.
