Advocates Criticize Federal Emergency Heating Aid As Paltry

Plattsburgh, NY – The federal government will release one-hundred million dollars in emergency contingency funds to be dispersed nationwide as part of the low income home energy assistance program known as LIHEAP. But advocates and Northeast lawmakers say the way it's been doled out to individual states amounts to paltry sums that don't meet the need. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
