A professional photographer from western Massachusetts will share a ten-year retrospective of his work at a public showing in Springfield on Saturday.

It’s a collection of artistic, entertaining, and moving photos of local people and places along with basketball legends and celebrities.

WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill got a preview.

The show is this Saturday (July 17th) from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. at Gasoline Alley, 250 Albany Street in Springfield.  Admission is free.  There will also be a beer garden, food trucks, and live music.

The record-setting tenure of Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno. The 2011 tornado and its recovery that remade the largest city in Western Massachusetts. The fallout from the deadly COVID outbreak at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. Those are just a few of the thousands and thousands of stories WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill has covered for WAMC in his nearly 17 years with the station.
