Berkshire Museum Board Elects New President To Succeed McGraw

Berkshire Museum
Ethan Klepetar

On Monday, the Berkshire Museum’s board of trustees elected a new leader at its annual meeting. Ethan Klepetar – who has been a board member since 2011 and its vice president since 2015 – succeeds board president Elizabeth “Buzz” McGraw. Klepetar spoke with WAMC about what the move means for him and the Pittsfield, Massachusetts institution, which weathered heavy criticism locally and abroad for its controversial art sale in 2018.

Josh Landes has been WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief since February 2018, following stints at WBGO Newark and WFMU East Orange. A passionate advocate for Western Massachusetts, Landes was raised in Pittsfield and attended Hampshire College in Amherst, receiving his bachelor's in Ethnomusicology and Radio Production. His free time is spent with his cat Harry, experimental electronic music, and exploring the woods.
