A non-profit in Adams, Massachusetts is holding a fundraiser in the form of an all-day musical festival Saturday.
The Adams-Anthony Center – which offers a free summer jazz camp to Berkshire students among its program offerings – is putting on the event at Bowe Field in Adams.
“Nashville in the Berkshires is an all day, outdoor music festival with a decidedly country bent to it," said President William Kolis. "The gates are going to open at 11 in the morning, performances start at 11:30 in the morning, and are going to run all the way until 10 o’clock at night.”
The nonprofit is named after Samuel Adams and Susan B. Anthony, and its stated mission is to “promote and disseminate the free flow and exchange of ideas and civil discourse on matters political, economic, and social affecting the human condition.”
