State Senator Adam Hinds easily fended off a primary challenge Tuesday as the Democrats seeks a second term representing the westernmost portion of Massachusetts.
By a wide margin, incumbent Hinds fended off Lee selectman Thomas Wickham in the race to represent the Berkshire, Hampshire, Franklin, and Hampden Senate District.
“We’re humbled that we had this level of support, and we’re happy- I’d say it’s the signal that we’ve done something right and we’re happy to get back to work.”
Hinds praised voters for the above average turn out in the primary. No Republicans are running in November's general election.
