The Vermont Department of Public Service is seeking public opinion on a draft of the state's comprehensive energy plan.
A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in Lyndonville.
The draft plan recently released by the department reaffirms the state's goal of meeting getting 90 percent of the state's energy needs through renewable sources by 2050.
The Lyndonville meeting is one of five public hearings that will be held across the state in October.
Some other goals of the plan include reducing total energy consumption per capita by 15 percent by 2025, and by more than one third by 2050.
