WAMC

Martin Meehan, the president-elect of the University of Massachusetts, visited the flagship Amherst campus today.   It was his first campus visit since he was chosen to be the system president by a unanimous vote of the UMass Board of Trustees last Friday.  Meehan, a former U.S. Congressman and current chancellor at UMass Lowell, took questions from a group of students.

The record-setting tenure of Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno. The 2011 tornado and its recovery that remade the largest city in Western Massachusetts.
