New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says a resurfacing project on a portion of an interstate in Dutchess and Putnam Counties is complete.

The $11 million project resurfaced a busy 7.7 mile section of I-84. The project began in the spring for the span from the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of East Fishkill, in Dutchess County, to the Bowen Road overpass in the Town of Kent, in Putnam County. In addition to adding new pavement, there are repairs to the roadbed and pavement joints to extend the lifespan of the road surface. The ramps to the eastbound and westbound Stormville rest areas were also paved.
