Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney is seeking a fifth term in New York’s 18th House district. The Democrat is running against Republican Chele Farley and third-party candidate Scott Smith. WAMC’s Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne spoke with Maloney about the race.
Maloney, a Cold Spring, Putnam County resident talks about why he’s seeking another term representing the district that includes all of Orange and Putnam Counties, and parts of Dutchess and Westchester Counties.
Maloney, who lost a 2018 Democratic primary for state attorney general, is also on the ballot lines of the Independence and Working Families Parties.
