League Of Women Voters Puts Out Early Voting Survey

The League of Women Voters of New York has released an online survey to track voters’ experiences with early voting across the state. Early voting began Saturday.

The 11-question survey includes questions regarding voters’ understanding of the early voting process; access to information about their early voting poll sites; and reason for voting early. The nonpartisan League will be using this information in its future advocacy efforts to ensure maximum early voting accessibility and awareness for the 2020 election. Questions include “How long did you wait to vote?” and “Was all the equipment working properly?” All responses are anonymous. The survey results will be shared with county boards of elections, the state Board of Elections; and members of the Assembly and Senate Elections Committees.
