In Dutchess County, funding is headed to Beacon for Main Street accessibility improvements; to the Town of Red Hook for a sidewalk project; to the Wappingers Falls Village Center Pedestrian Safety Project; and to the Town of Hyde Park Route 9 redesign. In Ulster County, money will help with various Village of New Paltz projects as well as with phase four of the Hudson Valley Rail Trail West, from New Paltz Road to South Street. Funding also is headed for projects in Putnam, Rockland and Westchester Counties. The funds are made available to the state through the Federal Highway Administration.
