Understanding & Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors (virtual/telephone education program)

Understanding & Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors (virtual/telephone education program)

Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the primary ways for people with dementia to communicate their needs and feelings as the ability to use language is lost. However, some behaviors can present real challenges for caregivers to manage. Join us to learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease. Event is FREE & is available virtually and via telephone, but Registration is Required. You will receive a video conference link to access and can sign in as a guest to enter the virtual program. RSVP at https://bit.ly/32cIvGu , via our 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900, or by contacting Sierra Snoddy at 518.675.7214/ ssnoddy@alz.org
