The Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show

The Arkell Museum & Canajoharie Library welcome the public to The Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show. Selected artists exhibit oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, photographs, pastels, stone lithographs and sculpture in the Regional Art Galleries through Wednesday, July 21. Juror Paul Marcellino chose forty-six pieces from applicants living in New York State. He taught art at schools and institutions throughout the Northeast and conducted courses and workshops at the Pratt Institute, NY Academy, Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYS Summer Institutes and the International School of Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture in Montecastello in Umbria, Italy. The show is sponsored by Blick Art Materials and Golden Artist Colors, Inc. The Museum, Regional Art Galleries, and Library are open Tues - Fri, 10 am-5 pm; Sat & Sun, Noon-5 pm. The Regional Art Galleries and Library remain open until 6 pm on Wednesdays. Located just west of Thruway exit 29. The building has off street parking and is wheelchair accessible.
