The city of Albany wants to better understand how residents are experiencing the coronavirus pandemic, especially those from communities of color.
Residents are invited to take a 5-minute online COVID-19 Community Survey. Chief City Auditor Dorcey Applyrs:
"In preparation for what some anticipate as in a second wave of COVID-19, my office is collecting this information so that we can provide recommendations in the form of a report to Mayor Kathy Sheehan."
Applyrs says the survey closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. It's anonymous and is available in English, Spanish and Chinese.
"We want to ensure that we are addressing disparities in health outcomes that we've seen with COVID-19 cases and deaths among residents of color."
