UAlbany Student Leaders Rail Against Fee

facebook

A broad coalition of student leaders at UAlbany are united against A new fee to be imposed on all students.

Leaders of the University at Albany’s political groups announced their opposition to a proposed ‘campus life fee.’ College Democrat, Republican, and Libertarian Presidents oppose the newly announced fee meant to curb ‘boredom on campus,’ according to the University’s facebook page promoting the $60.00 per semester fee.

Jamie Zieno is President of the UAlbany College Democrats.  "The campus life fee is not something 21st century college students can afford. President Obama praises SUNY schools for keeping college expenses low, and I think we should continue to keep costs low."

UAlbany officials did not immediately return a call for comment.
