They used to describe comic books as “all in color...all for a dime”. That, of course, was many years ago. Today comic books are a much more expensive item. Except for today. You may not realize it but today is Free Comic Book day...one of the most aptly named holidays ever. Comic book retailers across the country are giving out special free comic book day editions of some of the biggest titles in the industry. Here to talk about what’s going on in comic book shops all over the country is Joe Field, the founder of Free Comic Book Day and a comic book retailer who owns Flying Colors Comics in Concord, California.
