WAMC's Ian Pickus and resident quizzer Mike Nothnagel continue their October tradition.

Last week's challenge
Start with two of the five answers from today’s questions. (Which two is for you to figure out.) Rearrange the letters to spell the seven-letter name of a U.S. state and a three-letter word that names something that state is famous for having a lot of. What is the state and what is the word?
Answer: If you start with ISLAND and FOUR, you can rearrange the letters to spell FLORIDA and SUN.

THIS WEEK'S CATEGORY: SERIES #9
On-air questions: For many reasons, this is a weird thing to say this year, but the World Series is happening again. As we say every year, if you are a fan of a particular baseball team, we hope that team is in the World Series and it has won more games than the other team in the World Series. Also we hope your team did not trade Mookie Betts. Since the World Series is happening, it is time for our annual series category. To refresh everyone’s memory, I'll read a list of items that form a series (or part of one) and somewhere in that list will be a blank. You figure out what belongs in that blank.

1. Eleanor, Bess, Mamie, _____, Lady Bird
2. Gale, strong/severe gale, storm, violent storm, _____
3. A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Fun Home, _____, Dear Evan Hansen, The Band’s Visit, Hadestown
