Karen Pearson/Mass MoCA

One of the MASSMoCA's current exhibitions is Jason Middlebrook: My Landscape. The pieces contained include new works from Jason’s series of painted hardwood planks begun in 2008 and will debut an awe-inspiring, hanging mobile that functions like a fountain within the gallery.

Jason Middlebrookreceived a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Master of Fine Arts from the Sanfrancisco Art Institute. He participated in the Whitney Independent Study Program and has exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions nationally and globally. He lives and works in Hudson. He joins us along with MASS MoCA Curator, Susan Cross.

Susan joined the MASS MoCA team in 2006 and since then she has commissioned new works for MASS MoCA, and authored essays for exhibition catalogues and books. Prior to MASS MoCA, Cross was a curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
