Any Questions? #86

It's all about 33 on this week's show, featuring resident quizzer Mike Nothnagel and WAMC's Ian Pickus.

Last week's challenge
Think of a four-letter word that starts with C that can precede SHOT to make a common two word-phrase. Change the vowel sound in that word, and you'll get a five-letter word starting with C that can also precede SHOT to make a common two word-phrase. What are the words?
Answer: The words are CHIP and CHEAP.

On-air questions: On April 19, 1981, a baseball game between the Rochester Red Wings and the Pawtucket Red Sox was called at 4:07 a.m. after the 32nd inning ended with the teams tied at two. A 33rd inning would be played more than two months later, during which Pawtucket scored and, therefore, won what is still the longest game in professional baseball history. To commemorate those historic 33 innings, this week's quiz is about the number 33.
