Alan is joined by Susan Kayne and Andrew Elsbree. A Hudson Valley horse owner and breeder licensed in New York since 1984, Kayne is the creator and host of the television series Unbridled and author of the upcoming book Bandit’s Story, an account of six months in the life of an average racehorse. Kayne’s husband, Andrew Elsbree, is a certified journeyman farrier who is licensed to put shoes on racehorses at New York Racing Association-run tracks.

Alan is joined by New Paltz resident Joel Goldstein, who works as a transportation and logistics executive. The founding president of Southern Ulster YMCA, Goldstein is an adoption advocate and activist who has two adopted children. Goldstein is the author of No Stone Unturned, which chronicles the story of his son, Bart Goldstein, and his long recovery from traumatic brain injury after a 2001 car accident.

Alan Chartock is joined by attendees at the International Conference on the Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, a meeting at the University at Albany that brings together hundreds of technology and government experts from around the world.

Alan is joined by Susan Crandell, a freelance writer and editor based in Cornwall-on-Hudson who spent three decades editing magazines like Travel & Leisure and Smart Money. After six years as editor in chief at More magazine, Crandell quit, and soon after published the book Thinking About Tomorrow: Reinventing Yourself at Midlife. She is a Capital Region native and graduate of Middlebury College.
