North Country high school, university students advance to championship round of robotics competition

Team 4124 (above), one of the two FIRST Robotics teams sponsored by Clarkson University, was a regional winner at the BAE Systems/Granite State Regional in Manchester, N.H., on March 2 and will advance to the FRC Championship in St. Louis, Mo., in April.

Imagine this; two teams of three robots each are pitted against each other in an area to fling projectiles and climb to the top of a steel pyramid.

Snow, wintry mix expected in N. new England

The NWS is forecasting snow, rain, and ice for New York's North Country and Northern New England starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — As residents in northern New England dig out of the big snowstorm, they're anticipating headaches from the next storm, which is expected to bring a combination of snow and freezing rain.

The National Weather Service says more snow was expected Monday morning. It will gradually change to sleet, freezing rain and rain.

North Country Officials Optimistic Following State of State
