Super PAC Formed in Vermont

A liberal Vermont group is forming what they hope will be the first in-state Super PAC.

The Priorities Super PAC is an offshoot of Vermont Priorities, a group that advocates for liberal issues in Vermont.  Lobbyist Bob Stannard is the Super PAC’s Treasurer and Vermont Priorities Chair. Stannard  says he actually dislikes the concept of Super PACs, but formed it for a couple reasons.

Berkshire County Man to Open Holocaust Museum

A Berkshire County man is planning to open a Holocaust Museum in North Adams within the next several weeks. WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief reports…

Darrell P. English says he has been collecting antiques and World War 2 memorabilia since he was a kid. But in recent years, he’s had a growing interest in searching out items and artifacts from the holocaust.

The North Adams resident says that over the years he’s collected over 10,000 World War II pieces.

Tina D'Agostino Named President Of Springfield's Symphony Hall, City Stage

Tina D’Agostino was named this week as the new president of the Springfield Performing Arts Development Corporation. It is a non-profit that manages two live entertainment venues in Springfield Massachusetts; Symphony Hall and City Stage.  D’Agostino was the organization’s marketing director for the last ten years.  She spoke with WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill
