Throughout the O+ Health and Wellness Festival weekend of Oct. 5-7, artists, musicians and even festival volunteers will be exchanging talent for talent with medical caregivers, doctors, educators and professionals for health screenings during an on-site weekend clinic.

Cherry Valley Artworks was founded to promote the art, culture and rich history of Cherry Valley, to provide a forum for artists and others interested in the arts, and to demonstrate how the arts can generate a sense of excitement and promise that contributes to a vital community.

The 40th annual Adirondack Balloon Festival kicks off Thursday and runs through Sunday. At the event’s opening ceremonies at 5 p.m. Thursday in Crandall Park in Glens Falls, the 40th anniversary will be celebrated with the launch of a special shape birthday cake balloon.

There are 104 balloons coming to this year’s festival, including 13 special shape balloons. That’s the largest number of special shape balloons that have ever been involved in the festival.

The 78th Annual Berkshire Harvest Festival --one of the largest and longest running events of its kind in the country-- takes place at the Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge, MA on October 6th and 7th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The Berkshire Harvest Festival features crafts, food, live music, a silent auction, kids’ activities – and more!

The Sharon Springs Harvest Festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday in Sharon Springs, New York. The annual event, run by Beekman 1802, celebrates the magic of small town America with a Harvest Hop, a Harvest Feast, a Farmer’s Market and more!
