Vermonters Join Nationwide Protests Against Iraq War

Montpelier, VT – Hundreds of anti-war protesters took to the streets of Montpelier over the weekend to march against the continuing war in Iraq. Police estimated the crowd between 300 and 500. The Vermont protest was held in conjunction with larger rallies in Washington DC and other locations across the country. More from North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley.
