Ulster County Is Home to a HITS

Saugerties, NY – After shelling out more than six-million dollars, the head of one of the top horse show circuits in the country is calling a place in the Hudson Valley the circuit's summer home. And, he says, it's the largest investment he has made in an equestrian facility. Local officials says the shows, which kick off later this week, are already a boon for the local economy, and they praise the leader of such creme-de-la-creme horse shows for his focus on the community. WAMC's Allison Dunne has more.
