Police in Mechanicville, NY have arrested two teenagers in the shooting death of 19-year-old David Feliciano.

Authorities say 19-year-old Nikolai Mavashev of Halfmoon and 16-year-old Joseph Broscko of Clifton Park murdered Feliciano inside his home at 44 Grove Street Monday night. Police say the suspects were arrested in Mechanicville between Wednesday and Thursday. Authorities say there was a motive, but did not release it. Speaking on Spectrum News, Major Robert Patnaude of the New York state police says the three teenagers knew each other.

“We have the right people,” Major Patnaude said during a Thursday morning press conference. “We’re confident we have the right people and that there’s no other people involved in the actual murder. We’re confident they’ll be prosecuted and we’ll be successful doing that.”

Mavashev and Broscko, both charged with second-degree murder, are being held without bail. This is the first homicide in Mechanicville in 20 years.
