Police have charged three teenagers with murder in the Thursday morning shooting of 23 year-old Alexander Martuscello at his home in Amsterdam.
Facing charges are: Christopher Malave, Raymond Matros and his brother Anthony Matros. Amsterdam Police Chief Gregory Culik says Raymond Matros pulled the shotgun’s trigger, killing the victim through a glass door. The chief said others acted in concert with him at 56 Glen Avenue.
"An absolutely senseless homicide," Culik said during a press conference Friday. "There was interaction with this group in this house and these kids and there's an ongoing beef."
District Attorney Kelli McCoski says she does not know of a motive.
