Strike Averted, North Adams Hospital Workers Hammer Out Deal

North Adams, Ma – Thursday's marathon negotiation between workers and management at North Adams Regional Hospital has led to a tentative contract, which in turn means the strike is canceled indefinitely. Both sides were compelled by community support and local lawmakers to reach a resolution. WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief Charlie Deitz has the update
