State Troopers Deployed in Crime-Ridden Springfield, MA

Springfield, MA – Springfield, Massachusetts has seen its police ranks shrink in the past two years from about 660 officers to its current level of about 460. Now the city is getting some help from the state in fighting crime. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Eesha Williams has more.
