State and Feds Still Scramble to Avoid Housing Cuts

Boston, MA – Last week, thousands of residents throughout the state of Massachusetts received letters in their mailboxes telling them they might lose their housing. The letters went to low income residents who receive federal and state help in paying their rent. By the end of last week, most of those cuts had been avoided. But it's still a scramble, and housing advocates say the same problem could return next year. WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief Kelly Wilkinson has this report.
