Sex Trafficking: NY Couple Arrested in Utah

A couple from New York is  under arrest out west on human trafficking charges. 

A Utah newspaper reports Tara Pinnock of Albany, was arrested Monday for investigation of human trafficking along with  26 year old Jean Joseph, of Valley Stream, the couple was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of human trafficking, kidnapping, aggravated assault and rape.
 
Police believe Joseph kidnapped a 23-year-old woman in New York City about two or three weeks ago near the Port Authority.  The pair took the woman on a "sex tour" where she was prostituted in  Pennsylvania, Chicago, Denver, eventually on to Salt Lake City where they were apprehended after the victim was able to call 911, she is now in protective custody. 
 
Salt Lake police say the 24-year old Pinnock was arrested earlier this year in Connecticut as part of an effort to crack down on prostitution before the Super Bowl. The FBI is now working on the case.
