Senators, Scientists Want Info on FDA Plan B Ruling

Kingston, NY – Some senators, along with scientists, are questioning the decision by top FDA officials to prevent a morning-after pill from being sold over-the-counter. They say the decision to overrule advisory panels and staff is unusual, and could point to political, rather than scientific, motivation. Eight senators have requested a meeting with FDA officials to hear their rationale for the decision. WAMC's Allison Dunne filed this report.
