Searles Complex may get new life

Great Barrington, Ma – In Great Barrington, The Searles Bryant Complex has been sitting dormant for almost 5 years, costing the tax payers 50 thousand dollars a year just to keep it heated. Earlier this year a developer who had put a down payment on the property walked away from the project leaving the town to search for another developer. Our Berkshire Bureau Chief Charlie Deitz reports that three proposals are in the works, and one comes from a local developer
