Police have released the identities of two people killed in a multi-vehicle crash in the Town of Ballston.
The Saratoga County Sheriff's office says 64-year-old Laura J. Wintermute and her husband, 61-year-old William A. Wintermute, both of Ballston, were killed in the three-vehicle collision Saturday at the intersection of State Route 67 and Finley Road.
Laura, the driver of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. William was transported to Saratoga Hospital where he later died.
Occupants of the two other vehicles were treated at the scene. It was determined the driver of a fourth vehicle at the scene swerved to avoid the initial crash.
The matter remains under investigation.
