The Rosendale Theatre Collective Open House
By Joe Donahue
First opened as a movie theater in February of 1949, the historic Rosendale Theatre in Rosendale, NY was bought by the non-profit organization, The Rosendale Theatre Collective, in August of 2013.
Thanks to support from the community, The Rosendale Theatre Collective reached a fund-raising goal and has been running the theatre since.
On Saturday, March 23 at 5pm, the Rosendale Theatre will hold a Community Open House and Celebration. There will be food and drink from local merchants and a presentation by the new Managing Director, Ann Citron, about the state of the Rosendale Theatre.
Ann joins us along with Ed Schoelwer, the Programming Chair.
