NY Congressman Calls For Federal Investment In Goshen Project

New York Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney has penned a letter to the U.S. Economic Development Administration. He’s calling on the E-D-A to invest in an $800,000 infrastructure project in Goshen, Orange County.

Maloney’s letter comes in support of the Orange County Industrial Development Agency’s request for a federal investment to improve water and wastewater infrastructure. The project would expand water and sewer lines along a business corridor in the Town of Goshen and connect them to a municipal source provided by the village. Maloney, a Democrat, says the investment along Route 17M would allow local businesses like Healey Brothers car dealership, Orange Hollow Racquetball Club and Tool Factory Warehouse to stay in their locations, continue with planned expansions and hire additional employees.
