North Adams Regional Hospital has opened after being locked down following an anonymous phone call about a potential bomb.

According to a hospital spokesman, the hospital restricted access shortly after 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. By 2:40 p.m. the hospital had reopened and resumed normal operations after a police search found no evidence of a bomb. According to The Berkshire Eagle, police reportedly have a suspect, but do not have an individual in custody. It is not clear if the call was made to police or the hospital. North Adams Police are still investigating.
