Marist College Virtual Lab is a Higher Ed First

Poughkeepsie, NY – A college in the Hudson Valley has become the first institution of higher education to open an Open Source Development Lab for Linux developers. The virtual lab will allow Linux developer remote access to one of the world's most powerful mainframe computers to run qualified projects and test Linux software. The college's president says the lab will prove useful on an international scale. More from WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne.
