MA State Schools Take Budget Hit

Pittsfield, MA – The Romney Administration, through the Board of Higher Education, has proposed massive budget cuts at state colleges and community colleges. In the Berkshires, The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts would lose about a third of its annual budget while Berkshire Community College would see one-fourth of its state appropriation slashed. Berkshire Bureau Chief Arlen Cellana reports.
