MA Schools Charging Fees for Bus Rides, Art, Sports

Northampton, MA – Massachusetts Education Commissioner David Driscoll yesterday told state legislators the state's school funding formula should be reexamined. Some schools in Massachusetts are so broke they have started charging parents annual fees of hundreds of dollars for their children to ride school busses, play sports, and other services. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Eesha Williams has more.
