Leahy Plans to Block Passport Plan

Montpelier, VT – Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy has been a staunch critic of the Department of Homeland Security's proposal for a passport or some sort of secure ID requirement to cross the Canadian border. With the shift in power in Congress, the Democrat says he will be in a position to block implementation of the passport plan. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
